Grand Première is the premiere haute couture event in the Ottawa Gatineau region. The annual event opens with a runway collection presented by couturier fashion designer Richard Robinson. His signature collection is followed by runways presented by students of the Richard Robinson Academy of Fashion Design. A panel of judges is commissioned to rate the students’ collections for originality, continuity of theme, workmanship and marketability.
